Day 1: Beginning the Adventure – From Merzouga to the Heart of the Sahara
The journey begins in Merzouga around 11:00 AM, where you will meet your guide and the team that will accompany you throughout the trek. After preparing the camels, you will start your route toward the dunes of Erg Chebbi, a majestic sea of sand that changes color with the sunlight.
Along the way, you will enjoy the silence of the desert and the vast landscape, with stops to rest, drink mint tea, and take unique photographs.
At midday, you will stop at a hidden oasis for a traditional lunch prepared by the Berber cook.
In the afternoon, the camel trek continues to the Berber camp, where you will spend the first night. Before dinner, climb a dune to witness one of the most breathtaking sunsets in the Sahara.
