Itinerary
Day 1: Fez – Ifrane – Azrou Forest – Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Merzouga
The journey begins departing from Fez heading south.
Ifrane: Known as the “Switzerland of Morocco,” it surprises with its alpine-style architecture and green landscapes.
Azrou Forest: Home to Barbary monkeys, where we stop to enjoy nature.
Midelt: Located in the Middle Atlas, famous for its apples and mountainous surroundings.
Ziz Valley: An impressive palm oasis crossed by the Ziz River, offering spectacular panoramic views.
Erfoud: Renowned for fossils and dates, it serves as the gateway to the desert.
Upon arrival in Merzouga, enjoy a camel ride to the dunes of Erg Chebbi to watch the sunset. Overnight stay in a Berber desert camp, with traditional music and an incomparable starry sky.
Day 2: Exploring the Merzouga Desert
A full day dedicated to discovering the Sahara Desert.
Sunrise over the dunes: A unique spectacle as the sun illuminates the desert.
Visit to Berber nomads: Share tea and learn about their ancestral way of life.
Khamlia Village: Home to descendants of Sub-Saharan African slaves, where we experience traditional Gnawa music.

Day 4: Dades Valley – Valley of Roses – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou
Travel along the Kasbah Route and cinematic landscapes.
Valley of Roses: Famous for its rose fields and products such as oils and perfumes.
Ouarzazate: Called the “Gateway to the Desert,” visit the most important film studios in Africa.
Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou: A UNESCO World Heritage site, a fortified village that has been a set for famous movies and series.
Overnight stay in Ait Ben Haddou or Ouarzazate.
Day 5: Ait Ben Haddou – Tizi n’Tichka Pass – Marrakech
On the final day, cross the High Atlas Mountains.
Tizi n’Tichka Pass (2,260 m): A spectacular road with curves and panoramic views.
Berber villages: Stop in traditional villages along the way to learn more about local life.
Arrival in Marrakech, marking the end of this unforgettable journey.
